Centennial Centaurs win the title
Congratulations to the Centennial Centaurs on winning the BC High School Football championship 39-36 over the W.J. Mouat Hawks. It’s their first championship in football since 1966.
Lemar Durant was named MVP of the championship game. Spencer Lang and Nehemie Kankolongo received awards for the game’s best lineman and back, respectively.
The Hawks showed incredible resiliency in the second half, coming back from a 20-7 halftime deficit and went down 26-7 after the opening drive of the second half. But the Centaurs offensive prowress proved too much on this night.
