Friday Night Lights renewed by NBC through 2011
Confirming that there is a God and his name is Tim Riggins, NBC has renewed Friday Night Lights for another two seasons.
It’s unknown which characters will remain a big part of the cast after graduating from Dillon High School.
However, with the realignment of Dillon and Eric Taylor the new coach of the East Dillon Giraffes (mascot name not yet approved), there should be a brand new cast of characters trying their hand at hooking up with coach’s daughter, Julie Taylor.
Sophomore-to-be quarterback J.D. McCoy and head coach Wade Aikman should be the prime antagonists. Of course child-beating, wife-harassing, booster Joe McCoy will also be wreaking havoc as well.
If you don’t watch Friday Night Lights, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It combines everything you want in a TV show… football, high school drama, awkward family relationships and more football.
It’s the best TV show based around sports that I’ve seen. Download the first season already god damn it!

I love this show! Screw all those other shows like The Hills or One Tree Hill. If you want an intense show that people can relate too, especially if you’re into sports, this is it!
