If Virginia Tech beats Virginia and Miami loses to NC State, Virginia Tech goes to the conference title game.
If Virginia Tech loses to Virginia, it’s Georgia Tech in the title game no matter the result of the Miami game.
If both Virginia Tech and Miami win this weekend, a three-way tie comes into play with Georgia Tech and the winner is… Virginia Tech.
The Hokies are in the driver’s seat because of their in-division record, which would be 4-1 after a win over Virginia. Miami is 3-2 in the Coastal while Georgia Tech is a paltry 2-3.
If both Virginia Tech and Miami lose, Georgia Tech goes to the title game.
Atlantic
Only one game matters in this division, Boston College vs. Maryland.
The winner is tied with FSU for the lead in the division.
If Boston College wins they go to the title game by virtue of their victory over the Noles.
If Maryland wins, FSU goes to the title game because of their win over the Terps this past week.
So finally, there are some answers a few weeks of crazy scenarios and possible four-way ties.
