College Football TV Schedule Week 13
Wednesday - Ball State vs. Central Michigan ESPN2 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time
The first of Ball State’s crucial games against Directional Michigan teams, first it’s CMU and Dan LeFevour, next week it’s Tim Hiller and WMU. Sure Ball State is undefeated but these are the only two tough teams they have played all year. It’s going to be tough but if they can win out they can make a case for a BCS game. They probably won’t get it however.
Thursday - Miami vs. Georgia Tech ESPN 4:30 p.m. PST
Second consecutive Thursday night game for Miami. Last week they got a big win against Va Tech. Now let’s see how they compete on the road in a hostile environment. Remember, the Canes control their destiny here.
Saturday
9 a.m. PST
Michigan vs. Ohio State ABC
Ohio State can still win the Big 10 if Michigan State beats Penn State later in the day. And even if Michigan is down, you really don’t need a reason to watch this rivalry.
West Virginia vs. Louisville ESPN
The Mountaineers need to win out to win the conference, Louisville doesn’t have a horse in the race anymore but they are standing at 5-5, just one win away from bowl eligibility with just two games remaining. Next week they face Rutgers, who are on fire and have won four straight.
12:30 p.m. PST
Michigan State vs. Penn State ABC
Michigan State can win the Big 10 with a win here and an Ohio State loss earlier in the day. So it’s essentially a two-game playoff for the Big 10 Rose Bowl birth. Penn State can end the hopes of MSU and OSU with a win here.
Boston College vs. Wake Forest ABC
This should serve as an elimination game in the Atlantic division. But both teams need help to get to the conference title game.
Stanford vs. Cal ABC
The Cardinal are on the cusp of bowl eligibility at 5-6. Cal has already qualified at 6-4 and and will finish their season against Washington.
Ole Miss vs. LSU CBS
This could be for a spot in the Cotton Bowl. Both teams, if they win the rest of their games could find themselves in Dallas for the January bowl game.
4 p.m. PST
Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati ESPN2
It’s a Big East knockout game. If Cincinnati wins, the only way they don’t win the conference is if they lose to Syracuse next week and West Virginia beats Louisville, Pitt and South Florida to close out their season. If Pitt wins and they beat West Virginia next week, they win the conference.
Oregon State vs. Arizona TV To Be Announced, most likely FSN or Versus
The Beavers are two wins away from the Rose Bowl. That’s right, the Grandaddy of them all. Who would have thought that upset over USC in September would lead them here. All that stands between them and their first Rose Bowl since 1965 are Arizona and Oregon.
4:45 p.m. PST
Florida State vs. Maryland ESPN
Another ACC Atlantic elimination game. Maryland needs to just win out. FSU needs help.
5 p.m. PST
Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma ABC
This is it. The game you’ve been waiting for. Texas Tech wins and they inch closer to the BCS championship game. Oklahoma wins and they force their way back into the picture.
